And for what absurd reason are women not allowed to vote? By campaigning and writing, I demand the abolition of slavery, votes for women, and total equality of all peoples. In my book Woman, Church, and State, I was among the first to describe the abuse of people in the United States during the witch hunts. No one suffered more during this period than women.
